Recently, God has been showing me something quite beautiful here in Guatemala. There are so many differences between cultures, but I love how God weaves our stories together. I’ve heard countless testimonies since I have come to Guatemala and Hope of Life. I love seeing the kindness and openness of people here. I have heard mothers share of God saving their child even when they couldn’t put food on the table. I’ve heard stories of broken families coming to Christ and being renewed. People who have struggles and grown up with almost nothing have shared with me great stories of faith.

These testimonies have changed and challenged me every day. I have grown up with so many blessings, and I have taken that for granted too often. I love that when I hear stories great or small, they are every day miracles. A woman shares the miracle of a new pair of shoes. A friend of mine once told me the miracle of how she wanted a pair of sunglasses, and someone gave her a pair the next day. It was a miracle!

How beautiful to hear that from the biggest things to the smallest, they are God’s miracles and His provision. How often do I fail to realize or even notice the everyday miracles that God is doing? What miracles are you missing? They are all around you!
