When my father Carlos Vargas started Hope of Life 30 years ago, he had one mission in mind: to save lives. One of the greatest ways Hope of Life has been able to carry out this mission is through our Sponsorship program. Thousands of children and individuals have been sponsored throughout the years, because of generous people just like you—and as more and more children are added to our program, the need for your support is needed more than ever. This is why I want to ask you, if you don’t already do so, to partner with us by becoming a sponsor.
With a small monthly gift of only $35 a month, you can help rescue a child from poverty by providing them with food, clean water, shelter, medical care, and much more. Right now, there are 300 unsponsored children in our program; many of which have been waiting for a sponsor for more than a year. Although, we never turn away anyone that needs our help, your monthly gift will ensure each child in our program will continue to receive the help they desperately need. It will also create a more sustainable sponsorship program and continue the transformative work happening in Guatemala.

As a sponsor you will be building a personal relationship with the child you chose to sponsor; you will be able to send him or her letters throughout the year, and gifts for their birthday and Christmas. Additionally, one of the greatest things that makes sponsoring through Hope of Life unique, is we give you the opportunity to spend time with your sponsored child every time you visit our campus—further growing your relationship with them.
