The initial heartbeat of Hope of Life International, Oasis del Eden was the very first permanent facility on our campus. This home for seniors represents more than a place where aging adults can spend their twilight years: it is our opportunity to care for those who have come before and to honor them as they age with dignity. At Oasis del Eden and Asilo, our sister facility specializing in care for seniors with deteriorating mental health, we provide ongoing care and support including medical care, occupational and ambulatory therapy, spiritual and psychological support for more than 80 individuals annually.
DULIA

Dulia has been part of the Hope of Life family since childhood. For ten years, she was a resident of the Village of Transformation, and was matched with amazing Sponsors who poured into her over the years, and with whom she still has a strong relationship today! Dulia knows firsthand the impact of Sponsorship, and the importance of a loving environment.

Many villages in Guatemala struggle to care for their elderly: resources are scarce and many prioritize the young. Seniors often become victims of neglect and lack resources to take control of their health and wellbeing, eventually reduced to extreme poverty and homelessness. Thanks to Oasis del Eden, many of these once hopeless men and women have found a loving home and the support needed for their remaining years.
